History

     All Saints Catholic Academy (ASCA) is a school rich in tradition and educational excellence. Located on Western Avenue between Brevator and Rosemont Streets in Albany, ASCA is housed in the the building which was once Holy Cross Grammar School. ASCA is the product of the combination of two former Catholic schools known for their tradition of educational excellence, Holy Cross Grammar School and St. Teresa of Avila.

 Taught to the NYS Common Core Learning Standards, each student is provided with a high quality education in a secure, nurturing and compassionate learning environment.

 ASCA offers 3-year old and 4-year old Pre-K programs which are offered as a 5day/full day program, as well as, a full day kindergarten. 

Beginning in Nursery, students learn Spanish as a second language.Our technology media lab offers students the opportunities to learn and produce documents that will assist them in being ready for the rigors of high school and college. Students in grades 3-8 get the opportunity to explore their musical curiosity  in the school's instrumental band and chorus programs. Students have the opportunity to learn to play an instrument,as well as, play in the school band. 

For those who enjoy sports, All Saints Catholic Academy offers a cross country team, ski club, bowling club and a competitive CYO basketball program for grades 3-8.

 Before and after school care is available for a small additional fee. 

A hot lunch program is available daily. ASCA participates in the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program.
