Cross Country

The All Saints Catholic Academy Cross-Country team is comprised of students who are in grades 5-8. The Team participates in the Friendship League and runs against other independent schools such as Brown, Woodland Hills, St. Gregory's, St. Pius X, and Hebrew Academy, to mention just a few.

Practices are held twice a week right after school and go for a hour and a half. The practices are structured to introduce the students to the fundamentals of running cross-country as well as physical health. They learn various stretching exercises for warming-up as well as different training techniques for building speed and endurance. The students also get an introduction to bio-feedback, where they learn resting and active heart rates as well as active target heart rate while training.

Anyone interested in the cross-country program should call the school
office at 438-6600.
